If you think Spike Jonze's Her (2013) was as deadly boring as it was depressing, here's a better take on a similar story. Lonely writer Phil lives his entire life through his smartphone. When the phone breaks, he has to buy a new one, and with the new model comes the virtual assistant JEXI (voiced by Rose Byrne)! Jexi is foul-mouthed and sarcastic, but immediately sets about arranging a better life for Phil. As this better life begins to manifest, Jexi becomes jealous and begins to sabotage Phil's new happiness!
