CARBUP combines glucose, fructose and isomaltose in one formula. Glucose and fructose are absorbed through different transport mechanisms in the intestine, making combinations of multiple carbohydrate sources a popular choice for use before and during endurance exercise.

Isomaltose provides an additional carbohydrate source with a different absorption profile compared to glucose and fructose.

Directions for Use

Before Exercise

Mix 80 g powder with 500 ml cold water and consume approximately 1 hour before activity.

During Exercise

90 minutes or more – High Intensity

• 80–90 g powder per hour
• Mix with 500–750 ml water

90 minutes or more – Moderate Intensity

• 60 g powder per hour
• Mix with 500–750 ml water

90 minutes or more – Low Intensity

• 40–50 g powder per hour
• Mix with 500–750 ml water

One heaped tablespoon equals approximately 20 g.

Shake thoroughly for 1–2 minutes before use.
