Copycat – Can you spot the fakes?

Copycat, originally known as Belratti, is a cooperative game where creative thinking and sharp observation go hand in hand. Players must work together to identify the real works of art and see through the fake images that the cunning art forger Belratti has sneaked into the collection.

When images tell different stories

Each round, two motifs are chosen, and players must try to find picture cards that match one of the motifs. It sounds simple, but the colorful illustrations can be interpreted in many different ways. This creates fun conversations and surprising moments when players discover how differently they see the same images.

Collaboration with a touch of detective work

Once everyone has played their cards, Belratti mixes his fakes in among them. Now the group must work together to reveal which images actually match the motifs. Each decision requires intuition, logic, and understanding of the other players’ thinking.

A party game full of laughter and good discussions

Copycat combines picture associations, deduction and limited communication in an accessible format that quickly gets everyone around the table involved. The atmosphere may be reminiscent of classic association games, but here there is always a common goal and an opponent to overcome, which gives the game its very own character.
