KANDIS 23

Over the course of the spring, three new singles have been released, and on Johnny Hansen’s 60th birthday on July 25, we released the fourth single, “På Skanderborg,” from the upcoming Kandis album.

Radio stations and the media have warmly welcomed the new singles, which were written by Chief One, Andreas Odbjerg, and Lise Cabble, among others.

“På Skanderborg” is all about the major breakthrough Kandis achieved at the country’s major festivals.

“It was an amazing experience to play at ‘Smuk Fest.’ We were in a packed tent with just as many thousands of people standing outside. That gave us our big breakthrough at Danish festivals—the following year, we landed 17 new festival slots. So it was a huge success,” says Johnny Hansen.

Kandis 23 is, as always, a mix of strong new Kandis hits with the traditional Kandis sound. However, Chief One and Emil Lei have produced four new songs that give a modern twist to the Danish festivals.

The album contains 14 brand-new songs.
